White Fillings or fillings that imitate the color of teeth are reliable materials that we can rely on a patient to provide beauty and durability. Continuous work on improvement and development of new aesthetic (white) fillings is almost completely suppressed from the use of so-called black or amalgam fillings.
The most modern composite fillings have the force of adhesion to tooth far greater than the firmness of the teeth. Therefore, it sometimes happens that due to trauma part of the tooth breaks off, but filling intact. To set a composite filling is not necessary to sand and part of healthy teeth as an amalgam, and the cavities were smaller, and the tooth remains in general less damaged.
